Ultimately, having your values set out in a clear, rememberable, referrable and digestable way is the key to having the structures in place to fall back on when it's time to have a conversation or to make a decision.
By having clear values in place, you make the difficult conversation actually quite straight forward.
Those that have established the values effectively and always said how liberating it has been to be able to refer back to them straight away - where the team member knows what's expected and it's clear when something happened that wasn't in line with them.
